The 39 Steps in London tells the now classic spy thriller tale of the incredibly suave Richard Hannay, who flees London after a woman is murdered in his apartment. He is determined to find the murderer while trying to evade both the police and the woman's killers. The play includes all the action from Hitchcock's fan-favourite film, including a bi-plane crash and even the chase on top of the Flying Scotsman train.

Set in Slindon Auxiliary Military Hospital during World War Two, a team of brave nurses of the Red Cross are fighting to save the lives of our injured servicemen with all the care and attention they can muster, whilst keeping a stiff upper lip and a sense of humour. When Matron receives the shocking information that there is a German spy at work at the hospital, she tasks her nurses with finding the spy and "smoking the bugger out". But at a time like this, who can you really trust? Remember, careless talk costs lives and sometimes your enemy is closer than you think....
